Bbi Considers Partnership Agreement with Lindab

Paul Carey, Support Services Director, and Simon Oldroyd, Sales & Marketing Director, recently visited Denmark to push forward a partnership agreement with Lindab, the worlds largest Air Conditioning company.

Lindab is an international group which develops, manufactures and markets sheet metal products and system solutions in the Ventilation and Profile business areas.

• The Ventilation business area focuses on the ventilation industry, offering everything from ventilation components to complete indoor climate solutions.
• The Profile business area focuses on the construction industry, offering an extensive range of construction components and complete steel building kits for both residential and commercial properties.

The Lindab group has approximately 3,666 employees in 26 countries and generated sales of £ 400 million in 2004. Its head office is in Grevie near Båstad peninsula in southwestern Sweden.

Reporting on the visit, Simon Oldroyd commented: “We found the trip to Copenhagen very worthwhile - a partnership with Lindab would help to further develop our Mechanical Services provision. We discussed a variety of mutual business opportunities with Lindab an are currently working with their UK team to broaden our Services capability”.
