Welsh Water, Cardiff East

Welsh Water is the regulated company that provides water supply and sewerage services to over 3 million people living and working in Wales and some adjoining areas of England.

They have 1.2 million household customers and over 110,000 business customers making them the 6th largest of the 23 regulated water companies in England and Wales.

Design Brief ...

Cardiff East is a new 'cleaner' sewage treatment works, located in the industrial heartland of Cardiff. The building has been purposely designed as a flagship presentation facility that doubles as an emergency operations facility in times of local or national emergency.

Project Delivery ...

Space Management

Office Design - New Layout, wall and floor coverings, desking, seating, cabling, lighting, air-conditioning and toilets were all elements of this project. We also installed a state of the art curved ceiling which allowed for exposed mechanical ducting as an integrated part of the design. The project comprised complete internal fit out, project management and execution of all internal works.

Furniture

Farrell's "Siansa" Boardroom tables and credensa's, plus Farrell's "Air" occasional tables were utilised as well as Orangebox task seating and Boss soft seating. We also assisted in reusing and relocating their existing Arenson desking from their Nelson HQ.
